About John-Guy Perrem

John-Guy Perrem is an urban geographer and educator. He attained his PhD from the Department of Social and Economic Geography at Uppsala University in Sweden. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) and an Associate Professor at Muroran Institute of Technology in Japan. He also established the Urban Space Initiative in a voluntary capacity to undertake diverse small-scale research and activism for championing urban public space.
